proper way of packing corals?

Usually when i buy corals from lfs, binabalot nila yung coral sa newspaper then nilulublub sa sw then nilalagay sa plastic with konting sw and oxygen but this time ang ginawa ng tindera ay binalot lang sa newspaper then nilagay na sa plastic sando bag, it never opened up nung nilagay ko sa QT. i wonder if this is the cause of death ng coral? sayang ang ganda pa naman ng kulay ng gonio...

depends on the coral.. ok lang yun na ganun.. usually they do that pag transport pa lang ng corals going to the LFS.. the reason why walang water is pag may water i think mabilis yung rise ng amonia that would kill the coral..
