welcome to RP bro,
Pa adopt mo muna yung natitirang fish then start a fishless cycling, 5g is very small for a SW aquarium, may sump ka ba? buy saltwater test kits you can find one sa cartimar sa metropet at sa Unico ,you can also contact Mr. Peter of Aquariatech for the test kits. Gaano karami live rocks mo? Do you plan to add corals ba? medyo mahirap maghanap kasi ng lighting for a tank that small. try mo din papalitan yung 5g aquarium sa pinagbilhan mo to a bigger one kakabili mo lang naman eh baka sakaling pumayag.
If ever nakakuha ka ng bigger aquarium piliin mo yung 1/4 thick na glass then pabutas mo na dun para less hassle kung maglalagay ka ng sump.
example : 20g glass aquarium cost only 500 php high strip and pabutas naman is 50 pesos to 150 depende sa shop sa Cartimar. marami kasi problems IME kung sakali di mo pabutas at gagawa ka ng DIY pvc pipe overflow. ganun ngyari sakin dati...
you can contact mang ramon 09225026681 ask him about overflow box, aquarium, sump design na gusto mo. a 50G tank is ideal for beginners in my opinion.
Bigger aquarium = much stable parameters = more powerful pumps ,skimmers, lights ,25% monthly water change, bigger electric bills, etc. = more expensive to maintain
choose the size that will suit your budget.
ako kasi I've started with 50G then 10g then 20g
Pero kung yung tanong mo is it possible ba makabuhay ng isda sa 5g = my answer is YES it is possible. pero limited types of fish lang ang pwede at mahihirapan ka if you're a beginner.
better read this thread bro for additional info abt. cycling.
