Im currently cycling a 5 gallon JEBO tank which I got from cartimar 3 days ago.. I was told I can start putting fish on the tank after one week. The guy who sold me the tank said I can put 5 fish in it.. but after reading forums online, it shows that at the most, I could only put one fish. A goby. @.@
Hence the questions regarding stocking my tank:
Basically I want the tank to have a lot of corals and anemones, shrimp, crabs, and as much fish I could put in it. But I also know SW doesnt let you get everything you want..
1. Given that the water I use for the tank is natural saltwater (not mixed), and I plan to do water changes of 25% every week, does this allow me to have 5 fish in it like what the guy said? If I cant have 5 fish, Is it possible to at least keep 2 clown fish? I dont like gobies and wrasses.. they hide.
2. Where can I find fire shrimps? cleaner shrimps? I havent seen shrimps being sold in cartimar. lobsters yes, shrimps no.
3. How much snails / crabs / shrimp should I put in it to help clean the tank?
4. How long after adding fish should I add corals and anemones? do we have xenias here? how much would be too much for stocking the tank with corals?
5. What do I feed tube worms? i noticed my live rock has 3 tiny ones..
6. How much live rock can i put in it? I currently have 1lb of live rock on it
7. Is my set up enough to even keep a saltwater tank running? or do i need sumps / skimmers etc etc? What do i need? help! :p
8. do i need testers even if im using natural saltwater?
