Anyone ever do this?
Basically, it's using Bayer Complete Insect Killer (active ingredient Imidacloprid) as a dip.
Mahal kasi Revive and Coral RX (about P1,500 here for the 1 oz concentrate, around P1,000 from the USA).
Do we have this available locally (the Bayer complete insect killer plus germ killer)...

I tried looking for an insecticide with that active ingredient in SM supermarkets but so I haven't found any.
I saw this in sulit (already inactive ad):
It looks close to that described in the topic.

I also checked SM Hypermart insecticide aisle... no luck with that active ingredient. Although, I think that reefcentral thread mentioned something that cyfluthrin (apart from imidacloprid) might actually be the more important ingredient. AND, I *think* I read that ingredient locally.
Also, there was another version that, apart from cyfluthrin, instead of imidacloprid, had sodium o-phenylphenate (sp?!?)... so I'm not sure which is which.
@Mikedown... better try Coral RX first (it's expensive, but you already have an infestation).
@ca7l0s.9, I'll try to contact that seller... Kaya lang, P3,000 (should last a lifetime, though -- assuming, of course, that this kind of treatment works). Pang industrial quantity na iyan. Even with my 300+ gallon tank, sobra-sobra iyan... Kahit filled to the brim with corals... haha!

@Alfalfameister hehhehe yes, at 3000 pesos sana may cheaper sizes sila.
Here's a 2007 press release about Bayer Advanced Blattanex Multi-Insect Killer. The official distributor is Neumann Mueller Philippines. I'll try to contact them tomorrow through the number listed in the article: 721-9800.
I think we're looking for this insecticide:
I could see the active ingredients sodium o-phenylphenate 0.30% and B-cyfluthrin 0.05%.
I'm planning to start stocking my tank with corals by end of March so I have to purchase CoralRX pretty soon...

I saw this when I was in Sta. Rosa Saturday. It's the exact insecticide I was referring to with the active ingredients sodium o-phenylphenate and B-cyfluthrin. I found it in True Value, Solenad 2. It's priced at 650 pesos.
