Sid, I used ordinary magnetic ballast (firefly) no spec here. But for e-ballast, here's the spec:
Rated Power: 150W
Input Voltage: 220V-240V
Frequency : 50/60Hz
Output Voltage: 3.8-5KV
Ta: -25℃ to 55℃
Tc: Max.80℃
APPROVAL:TUV EMC CE ROHS
Technical Parameters:
Protection class II Thermal Protection
Casing: Aluminium and Heat-resistant Polyamide Ambient temperature(ta):-25 to 55℃
High Power Factor Casing temperature(tc):Max.80℃
Power Factor(PF)≥0.98 Constant Power Output
Total Harmonic(THD)<15% Over Voltage Protection
Low Product Temperature Air Humidity(%):Min.5% Max.85%
foreground is PAR30 and background uses G12 bulb (same bulb inside the PAR30/PAR38)
Did some tests using a LUX meter for the 150W PAR38 bulb:
@ 24" below the bulb
Under the bulb: Over 20,000 lux
at 12 inches periphery: 18,000 lux
at 18 inches periphery: 10,000 lux
at 24 inches periphery: 4,000 lux
@ 36" below the bulb
Under the bulb: 10,600 lux
at 12 inches periphery: 10,000 lux
at 18 inches periphery: 8,200 lux
at 24 inches periphery: 6,500 lux
@ 42" below the bulb
Under the bulb: 7,800 lux
at 12 inches periphery: 7,600 lux
at 18 inches periphery: 7,200 lux
at 24 inches periphery: 5,800 lux
