Hi guys!

Im very very new to Marine aquarium. but want to get into this hobby so bad. i am very optimistic that you guys here in RF will make this come true.=)

we are currently renovating our house and we plan to put a marine tank in our living room. maybe 72" x 24" x 24".

we are in a very early stage of the renovation, i can have some plans change or redo in order to accommodate a marine tank.

here are some questions i hope to be answered:

1. do i need a special electrical outlet line to power the pumps etc.? or normal outlet would do?
2. i believe the 72" x 24" x 24" would be a + - 200g tank. how will this affect my electrical bill?
3. what else do you suggest i prepare at this point in order of the renovation (electical, plumbing etc.)

need help mga sir.. kakastart ko lang sa saltwater medyo mali ang paguumpisa sabi kasi nung sa carti kahit di na daw magcycle ok lang. kaya yun patay lahat ng isda. gusto ko sana umpisahan ulit need ko ng suggestion. eto po existing ko ngayon:

20gal tank filled with water na may halong saltmix

overhead filter na may 1800g/hr powerhead

pebbles (flooring nung dating freshwater setup ko)

live rocks approx 3kgs
2 pcs corals

pahingi nalang po ng tips sir kahit FOWLR nalang muna siguro ok nako..

Hi guys... newbie din although member na ako before, lurker lang. My wife and i finally decided to try saltwater, galing ako ng freshwater pero that was 10yrs before pa yun.

Anyway, planning to put up a 30 or 50g tank depende sa budget and size. Still waiting for mang ramons quote. Wala ba talga ganong LFS dito sa may fairview qc area? Went to ritchie's (fev) place to look around and ask na din. Ok ba price nya?

Hope to learn more and sana huwag kayo magsawa sa pag sagot sa mga newbies na katulad ko. Hehehe

Tnx sa update sir, txt ako sa number ng fish depot pero wala reply. Try ko na din dumaan tutal medyo malapit lang naman. Nagka-usap na kami ni mang ramon, ung dimension na lang ang need ko ibigay sa kanya. Madali nga kausap.
