Any shop that delivers?

Im living in davao and we don't have pet shops here that sells marine tank needs (live rock, snails, crustaceans, etc.)

thus, im wondering if merong shops na nagdedeliver ng live rocks, snails, crustaceans, etc papunta dito sa davao?

Wala po ba talagang nageexport ng liverock and such?

I'm really looking forward kasi sa set-up ko.

Ayoko rin sana kumuha sa dagat mismo.

bro halos lahat ng livestocks natin dito sa pinas galing dagat so if you can get your ls by yourself why not diba mas ok nga yun atleast hindi masyado masisira ang reef kung ikaw mismo ang kukuha pag mga diver kasi basta tibag lang ng tibag buong colony kinukuha hangang maubos

Un plano ko, diver kasi ako kaya pwede akong kumuha pero ang alam ko bawal eh. Pero un din naman un, diba? kung bibili ako same lang kasi kumuha rin ung bibilhan ko sa dagat natin. XD

Ang balak ko lang naman is kumuha ng liverock sa dagat kasi wala talaga akong mabilhan, panu ko ba malaman kapag maganda ung itsure ng liverock? Ang alam ko lang kasi us dapat porous, may coraline algae. Or mas mabuti if i will cure it prior to puting it in my tank?

Bro mas maganda nang icure mo yung LR, napakaraming bad hitchhikers at diseases na pwedeng maintroduce sa set-up mo pag diretso mong kukunin yung LR sa dagat.

Mamulot ka nalang nung nasa beach na mismo, yung bleached and dried rocks na namuti na sa araw, a lot safer and hindi ka pa makakasira ng natural reefs

ganun po ba? Considered as live rock na rin un kahit dried up na siya? i see. dun na lang siguro para di masira ang reef.

Actually dried rock na yun..hindi na sya "live", but it will eventually become live as it becomes colonized by bacteria and small critters in your tank.

Pero do i still need to seed from a liverock kung puro dry rock ilalagay ko? Or enough na ung mga bacteria sa sand ko, i think, although im not sure, meron na bacteria sand ko. Nilagyan ko kasi dati ng bacteria from LFS. How would i know if may bacteria ang aking sand?

Well, i don't really have a choice because nobody sells live rocks here. I might be able to get some while diving but i'm afraid i may also get diseases along the way. I might as well do it slowly but surely, right? Also, If im going to place a small live rock, curing it would be a good idea, yes? Prior to placing it in the tank of course.

nasa davao ako last april 29-30,2014...

naghanap din ako ng lfs...ang napuntahan ko lang ay SM Petco at Gaisano Grand(sa basement ang LFS)...

so far puro pagkain ng Tropical marine fish ang nandun at may 1 pair ng SERA ph test...

walang Marine Tank Set-up...
