sirs, question lang, which do you prefer, PVC or Flex tubing? if ever, is there a store here in MM where you can buy flex tubing which fits standard PVC fittings?

Flex for return, less resistance. I think FevMarine sells them. You may also go to T. Alonzo (Aranque), there are lots of shops that sell them.
