15 gallon tank with 5~6mm glass

Hi experts,

A hobby newbie here.
WIll a 5~6mm glass with proper sealant can be use for a
15 gallon tank ?

And what is the minimum thickness of glass for a 15 gallon tank?

Planning to upgrade my pico to a nano.

i think recommended size is 1/4 thick specially on reef tank and if ever you want to add sump in the future mas madali sya butasan na di masisira basta basta. just my cent lets wait for the expert here for advice

I'm not sure kung pwede 6mm glass (3/16" ba yun?).. but i would go for 1/4" for added security and pwede siya butasan. Pag manipis na glass mahirap pabutasan. the price is not that far apart naman. plus with a 1/4" thick glass, pwede ka na mag rimless..

Sayang ... akala ko makakapag-upgrade na ko hehehehe.... Will keep my pico for now for peace of mind hehehehe...

May nascore akong Aquasystem Crysty 6040 (600mmx300mmx400mm @6mm)na display item sa isang LFS at
roughly Php500. May konting conting chip sa may bandang bibig ng tank, pero di naman compromise ang
integrity ng silicon at structure.

pwedeng pwede mo sya gamitin bro, 6mm is almost 1/4" at ok sya sa 15gal, ang gamit ko ngang 15 gal din ay 3/16" or 4.5mm, mga 3-4 years ko n syang gamit.
