How to drill an acrylic tank

Hi Reefers,

I am thinking of adding a sump tank. Anybody knows how to drill an acrylic DT? May nag hohome service ba? I am from Silang, Cavite, near Santa Rosa Laguna

if it is acrylic and not glass then it is way much easier. gamit ka lang bro ng carbide hole saw or wood hole saw. just be careful lang and make it slow since low melting point ang acrylic. mabilis lumambot pag nainitan na. hth

I agree. Effortless ang pag drill sa acrylic. Cheap pa ang hole saw.

Aside from low melting point, prone sa crazing or cracking ang acrylic pag minadali. Try to find a suitable drill bit with lots of fine teeth. Mas maganda ang butas ng ganun IME.
