Newbie tank setup

Hello! Nasa cycling stage na po ako. Nag start ako last saturday. I used NSW on my Tank. Nag lagay po ako ng shrimp 6 pcs na medium size. Nag tataka lang ako kasi malinaw yon tank ko pero yong water 2 days lang lumabo. May mali po kaya akong ginawa?

Lalabo talaga yung tubig mo, nabubulok kasi yung shrimp. imo masyado marami yung shrimps na nilagay mo,

You have the options to remove it now or leave it 'til the shrimps have all disintegrated in a weeks time. You just would
have to endure the foul smell.

alisin mo na.. i never really used shrimps.. kasi usually tank transfer ako.. i used cure LR na din dati.. i cycled in a tub.. andun LR ko.. then lipat na lang sa main display pag kaayos.. dati kasi patong patong lang ng LR.. now, sementado na.. kaya kailangan i cycle talaga..

Sa pagkakaalam ko once you detected an ammonia source sa test kit mo, you can remove it na. hindi naman kailangan ng sobrang taas at hindi mo rin need ipabulok hangang mawala yung shrimp sa tank. Just a few days pwede mo na alisin then wait ka na lang hangang maging nitrate lahat.

puwede ka din maglagay ng start up bacteria na nasa bote like api seachem or kent marine para mas mapabilis cycling mo ako eversince nag saltwater di ako ag pabulok ng shrimp mga start up bacteria lang gamit ko ok naman importante lang nmn mag 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and 0 nitrate

Salamat. I don't know if my tank is already okay for LS since my ammonia and nitrite is 0 and my Nitrate count is 40 ppm.
Do I need to do water changes? Planning to get chaeto this weekend. Thanks for the reply guys.

ride on lang ako dito sa thread mo ah kasi same problem tau. taas ng nitrate ko, nasa 40-80ppm (mejo naduduling nako sa color chart eh hehe). Napababa mo na ba ung nitrates mo?

Bunsoy baka kulang yung rocks mo? Dati nung konti lang rocks tank ko lagi rin ako nagkakaproblem sa nitrates. Need kasi maraming rocks para marami kang anaerobic bacteria. Kung kulang rocks mo maybe you can try seachem matrix, never ko pa natry pero read some good reviews on it. Basically parang rocks lang siya pero specially designed siya na masmaraming surface area for aerobic and anaerobic bacteria.
