Hi Mga Kareefers!

I am new to the hobby! Need your help. I'm currently cycling my 35 gallon tank for 3 days now and I need your advise on the ff: questions. See attached pictures.

1. What are the dark/gray patches in some of my LR? Is it a good sign or not?
2. What is the "worm-like" organism attached to my live rock?
3. I have seen some worms that are dead and decomposing in the bottom of the tank. Is this expected since my tank is cycling?
4 My tank does not smell oceany or malansa. What sign is this?

try to attach a pic, usually you need to upload the pic in Photobucket or Photoshack or something then paste the URL here (following the steps on how to upload/attach pics here)

or try to upload a pic on facebook or other social media account/video from Youtube then paste the url so we can see.. mahirap kasi mag picture out or assume..thanks..
try to research or check some post here, baka meron din user dito with the same prob na meron ka.

strange things appear during cycling which maybe confusing to some. Just ignore everything you see and focus
on the main purpose of cycling which is zero ammonia, zero nitrite and nitrate with reading. test kits and patience
is your best friend at this point.
