hi :D just thought i'd share with you my simple project in making a clamp-on 12VDC Fan for the sump.

Eto yung materials and cost:

1. 12VDC adaptor (500mA) - P110
2. clamp-on (clip type) lamp - P90
3. 12VDC fan (surplus PAPST fan 4" 67CFM) - P150

Total cost = P350

Malakas din yung airflow and the fan is silent... works just great! :D

I plan to make at least 5 of these to put in my sump :lol:

20G aquarium without sump and skimmer:
6T5s: actinic/6500K/12000K/actinic/6500K/actinic with fans
1 pump for circulation
inhabitants: 3 orange-lined cardinal (apogon cyanosoma) & 7 snails
corals: blue actino, ricordeas (yellow & orange), open brains (green & red), orange brain, green lobo brain, chalices (green & violet), 2 red scolemia, celerina (green and pink), green star polyp, blastomussa (pink, red, violet/green, blue, red/violet, violet/red, red/blue).
