firefish goby

I got one firefish goby, very nice coloration

. According to articles I read, this fish is "hardy". Its only been a week since I got it. I rarely see it swimming in the tank, its usually tucked in a hole in a live rock. Is this normal?

Yes, that's normal. He'll go out during feeding time, then hide again.

yes, that is called a "bolt-hole." each will find onee. i got two rin from MA cartimar kagabi. its the last two of their batch of 30. so medyo napagpiliian na. binili ko na rin yung dalawa. one down, one to go

upon the investigation of CSI Quezon City, it was found out that the firefish died before being eaten. The goby is just having free lunch. either that, or it thought the mouth was a bolt hole.

problem ko, i realized my QT was broken. i wanted to place it there muna. i was forced to put it kagad in display tank after two hours of acclimating.

pucha! kala ko dila yun!!! buntot pala.. sayang sir... ganda pa naman... how much kuha nyo??? yung sa akin nabili ko sa edna's for 10pesos, aroung 2 1/2 inches.

it also has a sawtail goby for a tank mate... also always hiding :roll:

yup, kumuha ako last friday ng dalawa pa, thinking the first two died. eh buhay pa pala yung isa. so tatlo na sila, and they are not shy anymore

(they may fight daw, pero di pa naman. sana hindi na, sabay2x naman sila inintroduce eh...
